5/12/12: Charles Martin’s Thunder and Rain drew me in over the last 36 hours.  Thank God I had to sit at basketball practices and band rehearsals so that I could just read and read.  A beautiful story of “life after the rescue.”  Martin always delves deeply into the soul of a man, and reading his novels helps me to appreciate what makes my husband and sons tick.  They are beautiful…often more poetry than prose.
